I bought the September issue of the British Vogue here in London.
Kate Moss graces the cover and it made me realise once again, I am still in love with all the great supermodels of the 90’s.
Amber Amber Valletta (35) and Linda Evangelista (44) are featured recently in
V Magazine showing us that models can still have a career after 30 and 40.
Go and grab a copy of V Magazine when it his stands September 1st.
It will be more inspiring than most Bridal Magazines.

A True Love Story:

The other night in the pub our friend Sandrine mentioned she is going to France to attend the wedding of her parents. Right! Her parents! They have been together for 30 years, but have never tied the knot!.
Sandrine has kindly shared with us all the details so that i can share it with you all!

So this cute little love story goes like this…Jaqueline, 30 meets Jean-Marc, 24 (toy boy) at a fancy dress party in the south of France in 1979. Jean Marc was an indian, and Jaqueline was dressed as…Charlie Chaplin! 2 years later, Sandrine was born.

And now 30 years later, aged 60, and 54, they have finally decided to tie the knot this coming September. It will be a very discreet civil wedding with 2 official witnesses: Sandrine and her gran, Henriette, who at aged 80 has just returned from a cruise around Russia!! (more on that another time!) Unfortunately all of Sandrines other grand parents have now passed, making this a small but intimate affair.

The cutest part of this story has to be the fact that her Mum, visiting her fathers mother, and future inlaw has, on one knee and all, just asked her Grandma for the hand of her dad!!
Isn’t this unbelievable? Just proves its definitely never too late for a wedding.

Liv has never been to Lavs home country Australia so far, but would love
to check it out one day. Mainly because of the SUN and BEACHES.
So here is a little research on Australian Weddings.
Most Australian wedding traditions have been borrowed from England, but many ceremonies are also flavored with Aboriginal customs.

So what is a traditional Aboriginal Wedding?
Ceremonies are preferably outside, or in a ceremonial lodge or under an arbor.
The bridal couple has four sponsors. Sponsors are older, well respected people within the community, chosen by the bride and groom. The sponsors are to give spiritual and marital guidance to the couple throughout their lifetime.
Their commitment is to the Creator, to God. There is no breaking that commitment, and no divorce.
If the couple separates and goes their separate ways, in the eyes of the Creator, they are still husband and wife. Each person makes a declaration in front of the Pipe Carrier that they choose to be known as husband and wife. Then they smoke from the pipe. Tobacco is offered and accepted by the officiant.

One thing is for sure: Australia would be a great place for a beach wedding.

Oh Emma! How much I adore your photographs! You are definitely one of my favorite photographers…
Especially because she was one of the first photographers adopting the polaroid trend, working most of the time in old motels making self portraits.

And you know what? The whole thing started as a LOVE PROJECT
for her boyfriend, they had a LDR for years and very little time
together, so she started to shoot amazing self portraits on POLAROID to
send them to him.

She is also famous for her shoe photography.
This pair pictured would be the best DISCO DISCO BRIDAL CHOICE.

One day…

Liv came across this awesome INTERIORS.
I love BLACK and WHITE and this BATHROOM
adds my 3rd favorite color: GOLD
Maybe I start dreaming of coming home someday…
Liv has chronical travel fever, always wants to get away.
Not settling. My home is messy, most of the time.
Working 24/7 going back and forth between London and Berlin.
Loosing myself somewhere on the way.
When I found this pictures there was a strong calming feeling.
Liv loves white in apartments, gives me so so so much.
Inner peace somehow.
So if I had a home to decorate right now, it would look similar
