So there it is: The Happy End of my favorite movie.
(Yes it comes with turkish subtitels, I couldnt find another version)

Backstage.

Liv decided to do wedding dresses (and evening wear)
because I love to know that every piece I create will be worn on a very special day. With a special spirit.
I like it when cool couples are getting married. In cool little dresses (and suits).
It just makes me happy.

I want to do something for all you ladies out there that are courageous and crazy enaugh to say YES!

Did you know that the Australian Government offers a special support in relationship advice?
I learned from West Aussie Wedding that all couples applying for civil ceremony will get a DVD about Building Strong Relationships (it turned out the videos are quite crap, but the idea is a good one! Every country should do that, in a tasteful way. Hello you video artists out there!? )

When it comes to advice I am totally down with this : #1 relationship advice: read it here.

After the great Heart Stilettos by Vivienne Westwood and the
coolest shoe in the world by Zaha Hadid, there will be a new designer style launching in June 2010 this time by Jean Paul Gaultier.
Liv loves melissa shoes: They are eco- and animal friendly and having a great design on a really good price.
Thats my story and I am sticking to it.

(Oh and they don’t pay me or offer me free shoes. I think they should though)

Here it comes: A sneak peak of my moodboard!
Ahhhh! OHHHH! no? can’t see the textures, shapes and silouhettes
of the next BLUSHLESS collection yet?
Its all about the dynamics, the flying aspiring directions,
the crystal shapes and transformation.
Don’t worry about the color, the wedding dresses will come in different shades of white. For the evening styles there will be red and purples available. And of course black. Liv is sketching, sketching, sketching and draping.

I am listening to it a lot right now and think its really inspiring.
I am also in love with the style of Florence Welch.
Florence is of my new muses for the current collection

Liv is back to full draping fun in the studio, beginning work on the toiles and sketches for the next collection.
Don’t get to excited just yet, there won’t be any unveiling until the time for the official launch of the new collection, which will still be quite a long time away…

But I promise to keep you up to date in the process though, with sketches,
first drapes and moodboards.
One new dress available on request would be this one :

I made it for myself one day in black to wear during Fashion Week,
and got so much great feedback on this one, you can now order it in white as a wedding dress.

This is a cocktail/bridesmaid dress I created for a friend, its funny to see her in a fancy dress, because she is normally a complete tomboy.

I am totally turned on right now by an old painting of Amor and Psyche.
But dont worry, the dresses wont be in old fashioned kitschy angelic stylings of course.
The painting is an inspiration, and that will translate for Global Season 2011.
Just to give you an idea of the theme for the new collection.

about cake

This cake looks so very delicious, I love the homemade not perfect shape.
Plus I am a fruit addict and the berries on top really turn me on.

Liv dislikes cakes that look like design objects, have weird colors or look
clean and boring. Liv likes cakes that look like food and yummy and they
make you eat them with a big spoon or even hands.
I am not a big cake fan in general, I would prefer tons of fresh ripe fruit.
But I like the image of having a huge cake at a wedding for fun.
I like black cake and fruit pies better than classic fancy cakes filled with cream. The one on the picture above could change my mind.
