The same crafty Lady, Emma, that I have just introduced to you in my last post,
is getting married soon and designed her own rad invitations.
Liv loves them. Cheap and cheerful!

Emma of Vintage Magpie designs stunning sparkling bouquets made from vintage jewelry and fabrics.
The great thing is you will have it forever.
Check out all her unique creations here.

(Last year for my 25th birthday I got the most beautiful bouquet of real flowers that I have saved and even moved with.
I love them so much! It has been a smart decision to keep it because I didn’t get any flowers this year for my 26th birthday.)
Anyways this girl is turning jewelry into flowers. How rad is that?

The dress above is one of many great costumes by Christian Lacroix for the Agrippina Opera currently shown at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden Berlin
What a stunning dramatic wedding dress this piece would make!?
I haven’t seen this opera live but I am in love with the photos and I really feel
like going to the theater soon.(it has been a while)
This one will be a great fashion inspiration. So: If you are planning a Berlin trip soon: GO!
Liv decided to do wedding dresses (and evening wear)
because I love to know that every piece I create will be worn on a very special day. With a special spirit.
I like it when cool couples are getting married. In cool little dresses (and suits).
It just makes me happy.
I want to do something for all you ladies out there that are courageous and crazy enaugh to say YES!
Did you know that the Australian Government offers a special support in relationship advice?
I learned from West Aussie Wedding that all couples applying for civil ceremony will get a DVD about Building Strong Relationships (it turned out the videos are quite crap, but the idea is a good one! Every country should do that, in a tasteful way. Hello you video artists out there!? )
When it comes to advice I am totally down with this : #1 relationship advice: read it here.
I would love to hear from you guys.
Your (love-)stories, wedding planning challenges, the dress hunting & any questions about fashion/weddings.
Liv is also doing bespoke dresses: Working with you to create the perfect dress or gown that will match your style is such a great process.

Rad! JEAN PAUL GAULTIER X MELISSA - will be available in black, caramel, beige, lime and tangerine.
Nope. You wouldn’t convince me jellies are not cool, or sooo over,
or not suitable for a wedding!
After the great Heart Stilettos by Vivienne Westwood and the
coolest shoe in the world by Zaha Hadid, there will be a new designer style launching in June 2010 this time by Jean Paul Gaultier.
Liv loves melissa shoes: They are eco- and animal friendly and having a great design on a really good price.
Thats my story and I am sticking to it.
(Oh and they don’t pay me or offer me free shoes. I think they should though)
incredibly cool “engagement” rings by Maison Martin Margiela via oki-ni
…and you better have a ring ; )
Here we are, in the brave new world, where the ladies propose to their boyfriends.
I loved East Side Brides “ How to propose to your boyfriend” post.
If you haven’t read it already do it NOW here!
And then please come back here, if you got inspired because
Liv wants to suggest an incredible cool engagement ring for your boy.
Using brass and silver, the rings shown above are brushed for a worn appearance.
(alright I am biased, because I am a HUGE Margiela fan and the very hot suits on the site aren’t helping)

jewelry by UNO industries via supermarket
…is the main inspiration of my new collection.
This jewelry piece has kind of the same idea…
27 Gold or Silver Plated Magnets formed into a rubix cube or any number of wearable shapes.
Wear as a Necklace, bracelet, anklet, ring.

I have a similar piece of jewelry that I call my everything.
I can wear it as belt, bracelet, headpiece, necklace and i love it.

In a perfect world my head and my heart would live in peace…
This is one of the shortfim titles out of a wonderful project:
For incredible fashion inspiration check out the collaboration between
swedish fashion- and filmstudents: In a perfect world…
But for now Liv has to focus on the head.
So here you go:
Rad (bridal-) headpieces!
Did I just say I am desparate for some sunshine? The latest collection of Dinosaur is inspired by the SUN.
All this powerful yellow, orange and red shades combined with gold are instantly getting me into summer mood.
Liv loves that the collection is presented on the naked body ; )
(Go,go,go away endless German snowy winter, please, Liv is a summergirl!)
I recently found a lot colorful designs that would match perfectly with a white dress and could be worn again and again.
My first “add some color post” is about the Sydney based jewelry/homeware design company Dinosaur.
The Team consists of Louise Olsen, Stephen Ormandy and Liane Rossler. They have managed to intersect the boundaries between art, craft, design, fashion and business without pause, and have applied the same creative energy and focused vision to each new opportunity. The Dinosaurs have forged an important place for themselves within Australian design history, not only through their longevity and popularity but also through the distinctively Australian character of their work, with many of the colours and forms they use evoking the casual lifestyle and vibrant natural landscape of Australia. -Brian Parkes Curator, Object Gallery
They also care about the environment in different ways, so you can be sure you’ll support sustainable designs.

Liv likes Lingerie. There has been a big discussion based on boudoir photoshoots on ESB read it here.
I agree boudoir shootings by a photographer could be really embarassing. Self-portraits are really inspiring on the other hand.
To send over via email if you are in an LDR…or just for the fun of it.
And I don’t think most man are not interested in lingerie and don’t give a shit… Of course it feels great and sexy to be naked.
I love being naked ; )
During London Fashion Week Liv met Victoria, the designer of the super hot London based lingerie label Fred & Ginger.
Their underwear is delighted to look naughty but luxurious sophistication
at the same time. I am definitely a Fan of black underwear,
so I especially like the “black label” collection.
The Bridal Collection is vintage inspired, from white silks but far far from boring as well.
Love the glamourous make-up with the red lipstick! Its my winterlook!
P.s: fred & ginger designs for both Freds and Gingers! Extra points for sexy mens underwear coming soon.
Liv is happy to announce that from this week on
Blushless dresses will be available in NYC at the
fabulous Beyond7 boutique.
The picture above is theLULAone that recently has been published in the
Russian London magazine New Style Magazine.
Now I am out for a drink ; ) Have a great day all!

It’s Mens Fashion Week!
Liv likes Raf Simons collection a lot: review: here.
Perfect time to find rad grooms outfit inspirations.
The image above is showing an item by Michael Bastian.
What are your thoughts? Is a denim jacket acceptable to wear for the groom?
(hello, laid-back beach wedding!?)
If not for a wedding this still is a pretty cool item with its all american, wild wild west appeal.

This wedding clutches by Michelle Hartney just appeared in my inbox.
I really like the flapper inspired vintage designs as well as her unique rings that made it into the Miami University Art Museum.
All the designs have been created out of recycled materials.
As much as like clean futuristic designs in general, I like these old vintage laces, it feels like they have a story to tell.
20’s inspired designs and fashion always gets me excited because it strongly represents the independence that women discovered during that era.

images via Jessica De Lotz
I couldn’t believe my eyes when i saw Jessica de Lotz latest collection for the first time. She deconstructs vintage and flea market finds
and then recreates these incredible jewelry pieces.
So, a a thirties door bell came back as a beautiful black diamond ring.

Most suitable for wedding/engagement jewelry would be the
“The Love Story, Paris 1946” collection,
which can be personalised with your initials or different symbols.
The hand stemped wax seal necklace really gives me this romantic vintage feeling.
Im curious what will be next! Can’t wait to get updates from this lady.
How rad are all those jazz shoes and hightops?
They come in mens and womens sizes and are designed in New York.

Carla Venticinque-Osborn & Aaron Osborn are not only designing shoes, check out their other projects and artworks.
I am always fascinated by artist- and creative couples who are working together.
Maybe that will become one topic for this blog!?
