I haven’t done a world wedding traditions post in a while.
While looking something up on a yoga website I came across some traditional love herbs and I found the following fact:
Rosemary – Represents love and faithfulness. Many cultures have used this herb as an aphrodisiac and to keep love strong.
In days of yore, women carried Rosemary for their bridal bouquet in lieu of flowers!
I didn’t know that. I love rosemary on potatoes and roasts.
But as bouquet? Not quite sure.
It would look great for sure together with flowers.
Keep your love strong- with rosemary ; )

I just spotted this fantastic little thing at Magpie & Rye and thought it’s worth sharing.
No rock, but a really cool and simple design.
The New Yorker designer Caitlin Mociun studied at the Rhode Island School of Design.
Mociun brings the Bauhaus notion of combining art and craft to her design work in textiles, clothing and jewelry. Her prints themselves are Bauhaus-inspired, and she draws inspiration from the plant photography of Karl Blossfeldt, a prominent artist from the Bauhaus movement.

Mociun continues to explore and integrate the ever-emerging technologies and critical conceptions of sustainability, environmentally healthy production and the role of the individual consumer in society at large.
Now that rocks!

The online magazine Eco Beautiful Weddings just posted its Fall 2010 Issue
and it includes a Green City Wedding Guide for London featuring a lot of independent and sustainable local wedding businesses.
Blushless is in there as well. (page 29)

Did I just say I am desparate for some sunshine? The latest collection of Dinosaur is inspired by the SUN.
All this powerful yellow, orange and red shades combined with gold are instantly getting me into summer mood.
Liv loves that the collection is presented on the naked body ; )

I recently found a lot colorful designs that would match perfectly with a white dress and could be worn again and again.
My first “add some color post” is about the Sydney based jewelry/homeware design company Dinosaur.
The Team consists of Louise Olsen, Stephen Ormandy and Liane Rossler. They have managed to intersect the boundaries between art, craft, design, fashion and business without pause, and have applied the same creative energy and focused vision to each new opportunity. I am sure this bed (via anthropologie) with bedding (via can’t remember) like above could give you the full treehouse feeling, even in the city.
