Oh yeah! You have to like a jewelry designer that describes her creations like that, right?
For me the pieces by Macha Jewelry look all really contemporary.
The way jewelry should look in 2010, if its not vintage.
I love that there are so many finds suitable for men.
Even outside the mens category on her website.
These stud signet rings for example or the big knot rings,
would make great unisex wedding bands.
And Liv especially likes the ones that combine silver and gold. For herself.

Carla Venticinque-Osborn & Aaron Osborn are not only designing shoes, check out their other projects and artworks.
I am always fascinated by artist- and creative couples who are working together.

Maybe that will become one topic for this blog!?

Lav recently got really excited about tie clips after watching a 50’s movie!
So I did a bit research and found this clean and contemporary beauties shown above, as well as a few rad vintage finds like this hammered copper one:

This classic gentlemens accessory can definitely complete a great groom outfit. Its been said you should wear it at an angle, but
a lot of people say its not suitable for younger men to wear it…
I don’t agree with that all. Its a tiny little piece of jewelry that is both practical and can look very stylish also with younger men.
I also don’t care about the angle. I saw a lot cool guys wearing it straight across, like here at The Satorialist or here in the NY Times.
Most of this how-to-wear-rules are bullshit anyway, don’t you think?
Go break the rules men, that’s what is most sexy anyway.

…was the latest facebook state of my Lav.
The reason for that: He went for a little wintercoat shopping tour and
fell in love with a really cool velvet tuxedo jacket-
It was a really nice one.
Velvet can be so sexy.
It would also be a stunning fabric to wear as a groom.

who loves wearing his wolf mask at parties. I MISS NYC! so bad. BUT:

Liv just discovered this menswearlabel: Commonwealth Utilities
ITS PERFECT TO FIND A SLAMMING GROOM OUTFIT, I PROMISE.
Their website is stunning: there are replicas of the same man standing…
1 putting on a suit, and 2 taking of their suits. HOT!
Their clothes are just amazing, maybe because they are designing with
“the idea of making men smart, sexy, and a little bit fabulous.”
A cool little extra service they are offering on their website is that you can
“ask the concierge” about all fashion related questions you might have.

Anthony from Canada (a CSM graduate) and Richard from Australia met each other in London in 1995. The duo worked in London, and collaborated on many projects in London, New York and Italy. Anthony and Richard now have their own label Commonwealth Utilities, which is based in New York.

Aren’t these stunning? So so so freakin beautiful!
I recommend buying great fashion when it comes to your wedding dress, and the grooms suit and most definitely on stunning new (!) shoes for your wedding but you can save money on things like decorations that you can easily do simply but beautifully.
Even if I were a millionaire, I would always go for these rad old chairs.

Ive never really been sure how i feel about bow ties on men.
It depends on the man, and whole outfit I guess.
But I know that a lot of men, are really hating traditional bow ties.
(I remember my desperate Lav getting ready for the
Drapers awards night, frustrated that he had to wear a full
tuxedo…and finally, after getting angry, feeling hilarious, and getting
rebellious he left looking great, but minus the bow tie)
But…Iv seen some great ones in the latest menswear shows.
And on women they can look hot.

Tonight! Timing is everything…
Especially in fashion,
so Liv thinks clockwork cufflinks are a great idea.
Im really looking forward to London:
Will be great to suck in some new Inspiration.
Theres been so much to catch up on after fashion week.
It was really great though, met some very nice people,
shared some great ideas.
Studio is a mess. I am a bad bad housekeeper.
Was nice to be at Hotel Adlon last week.
But: Great Projects are coming.
Im currently planning an exciting photoshoot.
Then some interesting collaborations are on their way…

I was wearing a black dress during fashion week.
It was my own design and it got people asking: when will Blushless
present a second line thats not exclusively bridal?
