hello sunshine!

Hello Sunshine!
So good to see you. I have been trying to get in touch for a while.
I prepared to meet you at this sunny wonderful weekend off.
It was so good to hang out in the park with my summary friends:

+ fresh fruit (my favorite are mangoes and apples)
+ Vichy thermal water spray (amazing to set make up and refresh the skin)
+ big (round) sunglasses
+ a well fitting bikini/swimwear this one is by Lepel via lingerieplease they were kind enough to sent me a set to review and I LOVE IT.
+ a good book , (“A Woman’s Book of Yoga”, brilliant!)
+ non greasy sunscreen 30+ for the face
+ a hat

Thank you sunshine! I had the best time. See you soon.

Love Liv

How to wear a bikini in winter

I just received this stunning Quilted Bandeau Set by Mouille. The talented designer of Mouille that I featured on my blog before here sponsored this glamourous piece for me to review.

It’s rad. As a designer myself I can tell that the quality of the fabric as well as the production is excellent. It’s been ethically made in India and I love to support extraordinary emerging designers. This item is from the brand new 2011 collection. I totally dig the nude color.
The only problem: I want to wear it straight away. (and the current temperature in London is about 12degrees)
Maybe I should match it with my new vintage camel coat? And fake fur hat?

Eloping Outfit!

Shoes: FRED PERRY; Scarf: LOVE LABEL
both sponsored by and available via VERY
Dress: BLUSHLESS; Blazer: Liv’s own/Vintage

Here is to the ultimate eloping outfit:
I would highly recommend my new shoes as comfortable bridal flats, for all the “eff-the-heels-brides” that look for something cool and chic (and vegan).
They would make fantastic eloping shoes to just run out of the townhall and jump in the car!

Complete the look with the soft cotton skull & heart print scarf, that you can drape around your head to protect your hair while driving away in a convertible off to your adventurous roadtrip honeymoon ; )

honeymoon gear

Onepiece MONTICA by Mouille

This is what I want to put in my suitcase.
Liv is not going on honeymoon but traveling to Australia in January.
Honeymoon or holiday: I love this one piece and the ruffled bikinis.
Mouille is a young U.K. designer swimwear label with stunning feminine details.

The weather over here has lately been very British and that gives me great motivation and time to work on new BLUSHLESS dresses.

I haven’t had any holiday in years and also have never been that far away from Europe.
I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited.
The Trip will start in Melbourne, go up to Sydney and will end with a week beach all the way north in Port Douglas.
Liv’s PARADISE: Fresh fruit, the worlds best coffee & sunshine!!!

share your bed with others!

An old-fashioned wedding ritual does still take place in THAILAND today.
Don’t be alarmed if you are led to the honeymoon suite to find
an old couple sitting on your bed waiting to greet you! The idea is that an old couple are evidence of a long and successful marriage. Their knowledge and good luck is then imparted to the newlyweds in a number of different ways. They may say how ‘lucky the bed feels’ hinting that the newly married couple will have children. Bags of rice and coins may be placed on the bed along with a number of other items all acting as symbols of prosperity and fertility. Tradition states that the newlyweds share their bed with these objects for the next 3 nights.
You may be relieved to hear that the old couple don’t also stay in the bed for 3 nights!

Ive started dreaming about foreign countries every night…
Its really fun actually, the few hours sleep I get each night

I am spending on adventures and beachholidays.
Thats maybe because of I can’t go on holiday this year, due
to starting my own fashion label, Blushless.
But thats kinda ok though, and one day I will be able to travel again.

The weather is currently so shitty in Berlin.
I really need some sun…
Got side tracked! Had a coffee break and I have done a little research on places

if you worried about the weather…

…then you picked the wrong place to stay!
this is a quote from another favorite musician of Liv:
Lcd Soundsystem
Stuck between London and Berlin the weather could be definitely better.
I have been freezing for one week now and its constantly raining.
Its so very cold in bed without Lav. (4more cold sleeps!)
I really like it hot! But you know what?
The English consider rain on a wedding day a sign of good fortune! Smart people the British.
It was in England that many of our most enduring Western European wedding traditions got their beginning.
Most of us know the ancient nursery rhyme about something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. It became an important part of most Western European weddings, even though many brides and grooms no longer know the significance of the rhyme:
Something old is symbolic of continuity. The old item was often a piece of lace or a grandmother’s scarf or an old piece of jewelry. Something new signifies hope for the future, and can be anything from a piece of clothing to the wedding band itself. Something borrowed is symbolic of future happiness and is often provided by a happily married friend of the bride. And finally, something blue. In ancient times blue was the color of purity and often both the bride and the groom wore a band of blue cloth around the bottom of their wedding attire.

If you are still worried about the weather just leave for a six month honeymoon to sunny countries!
Oh damn! I really feel like traveling… or listening to the great northamerican dance-punk of lcd soundsystem-
Life is too short to worry about the weather!
