I have to say I haven’t had one of this days in ages.
But today it fully kicked in. I started to question every little dust corn in my life.
Just everything went wrong. I kept making the most ridiculous mistakes 3 times in a row.
My train was delayed ….I had a headache-my brain felt like mash:
Small things really.
But enough to realise I NEED A LITTLE BREAK,
just this one night without work. The evening off, at least.
And I am already feeling better!
I had a delicious dinner at Busaba Eathai in Shoreditch.
I needed some people watching I had to leave the house, and my work for some time.
Thank you Dave for fabulous company and motivation.
And now I snuggle up EARLY and listen to the storm and rain outside.

Here is a little sneak preview of new styles and you can see what I am up to.
Liv lacks sleep these days.
I finally started working on my dresses again, but beside a full time job
Its hard to manage everything on a way too short day of 24 hours.
I am excited though for the new styles and litres of coffee and really loud music keep me going.
Its weekend again, which means workin on my business day and night.
My biggest wish and main goal is to make a living from my designs and be able to focus on that.

My DIY haircut part II

Upon request here photos of Liv and the new cut!
After a party on saturday I spontanously decided to cut my hair off.
We did. Straight away! Now I rock a wild wild bob.

There will be a chihuahua puppygirl in my life in a few months!!!
That’s not quite a wedding related topic but it will inspire me for the upcoming dresses.

I would be happy if you want to join in with name suggestions,
or general advice, book recommandations for chihuahuas or whatever.

This has been the first time in my life that I am without a dog.
It just doesn’t feel right, something is missing.

I am sorry for the lack of posts lately…but I am still in “getting-settled-in-london-mode” and all the moving countries
and moving business takes up much more of my time then expected.
I am happy though. Very happy. And things are going well.

My does only look good when its messy.
The messier the better.
I cut it myself (or ask friends to do it) and I never use any styling products.

Liv loves the messy look also for brides!

how to stay hot in a chilly summernight

Ohhhh these summernights! Liv is getting excited, for the first time in her life, she’ll see a movie in a drive in!!!
They just created an urban drive in in east London, with original 50′s cars, all already set up! I can’t wait!

coffee & home

Behind every successful woman is a substantial amount of coffee.
And even if I am living in London now, I will NEVER switch to tea.
High on caffeine, I will always create the best dresses.
As much as I love grabbing my coffee to go in the morning:
The most important item on my ONE-DAY-WHEN-I-AM-GROWN-UP-WISHLIST is my very own espresso maschine.
(Maybe with a few packages of David Lynch Organic Espresso.)

Is there anything you always wanted for your home?

P.S: I start to ask myself when this “one day” will be.
Will Liv ever settle down and start to build a nest?
Will this restless feeling ever stop?
And will there be someone waiting for me with a coffeemaschine?

Volcano Eruption & Cubby Houses

Due to a volcano eruption in Iceland all my flights have been canceled.
I had to change all the moving plans, and it has been pretty chaotic.
I learned that you can’t get a mobile phone with a proper plan in London before you have been living here for 3 years and opening a bank account is also a really complicated thing.
So far about the lastest hassle.
The good news: Liv found a new place!
And after spending an incredible hot and sunny spring weekend in East London, exploring new areas, great shops,
looking for the best coffee and sleeping in a cubby house…
I have to say: I am in love…with London!

Liv is in London, still looking for the perfect place to stay.
The weather is amazing. Blooming cherry blossom trees all over the place,
sunshine, blue blue skies, and the warm spring zsa-zsa-zsu feeling inside.
I met so many inspiring great people within the last days.
Liv is in LOVE with London.

I guess we have all been dreaming of cloning ourselves at some days,
when we are feeling overwhelmed by the 1000000000000000000things to do.
Maybe right now having more heads would even be more useful than having more hands.
Or even one clear, focussed, smart, working head could do.
My head is feeling like potato mash right now.
Even coffee is not the answer this time.

I finally saw ALICE IN WONDERLAND and loved it.
It’s a really entertaining movie, well photographed and full of inspiring pictures.
I wish I would have been the costume designer.
My life currently feels like Alice In Wonderland.
So many things are happening, everything is changing,
