A royal wedding party

The Royal Wedding, is long ago be now, and though I have blogged about the special atmosphere here,
I never got round to post the photos.
I love how everyone dressed up it felt like actually being on a wedding.
The best wedding party ever. And a new public holiday for us in the U.K.
See more photos here.

Liv as wedding guest

Via My-Wardrobe.com
this dress is by Acne, shoes by Sam Edelman

In the unlikely event of Liv attending Dave’s brothers wedding in Australia in August this is what I would wear.
With smoky eyes and nude lips.
Sadly I am stuck with loads of work in London and couldn’t get the time off, so he will have to go on his own.
I can only dream- If I were going to attend, let’s say my work for August will be getting cancelled and I will be able to take holidays, at the same time I will be able to get a free flight and I will have only 1 day to get my outfit together online and uhm, while we are at it, I wouldn’t have to pay for my outfit either….
…Then I would prob. wear the outfit above. All found at My-Wardrobe.com

I would love to make it happen. Weddings are so magical.
I only need to find the time to go. The fabulous evening dress I can do myself.

time for new shoes…

I have been in “need” of fabulous new shoes.
Being a busy bee at the moment and the whole day on my feet I should better go for trainers or some sort of healthy shoe.
I usually don’t like compromises either.
But hey, I have to grow up or at least sometimes make a grown-up decision.
Just in case you are in the same boat, I have a shoe hybrid recommendation for you.

These heels are comfortable, but they are making your legs look loooong.
Might be good for dance-loving-brides(-maids) as well?
I got my women’s boots from very.co.uk because of my moving chaos situation I haven”t found time to go shopping.
(hooray for online shopping!)

hot australian (bridal-) shoes

I found a few hot shoes for your wedding at SIREN an Australian shoe label.

They come in so many different cool color variations that you could match them
to almost any suit.
So if you are in the lucky situation to be able to go groom style shopping in NYC,you might be happy to hear that there will be

for the upcoming 6 months.

Eloping Outfit!

Shoes: FRED PERRY; Scarf: LOVE LABEL
both sponsored by and available via VERY
Dress: BLUSHLESS; Blazer: Liv’s own/Vintage

Here is to the ultimate eloping outfit:
I would highly recommend my new shoes as comfortable bridal flats, for all the “eff-the-heels-brides” that look for something cool and chic (and vegan).
They would make fantastic eloping shoes to just run out of the townhall and jump in the car!

Complete the look with the soft cotton skull & heart print scarf, that you can drape around your head to protect your hair while driving away in a convertible off to your adventurous roadtrip honeymoon ; )

shoes AMALIE by Sophie Gittins
Liv is a golden girl.
She just fell for this hot heels by Sophie Gittins.
This design drew from the rules applied by the Wiener Werkstätte – Graphic simplification of architectural shapes. The palette derives from the heavy use of black/gold by the movement.

highfahion jellies forever

Rad! JEAN PAUL GAULTIER X MELISSA – will be available in black, caramel, beige, lime and tangerine.

Nope. You wouldn’t convince me jellies are not cool, or sooo over,
or not suitable for a wedding!
After the great Heart Stilettos by Vivienne Westwood and the
coolest shoe in the world by Zaha Hadid, there will be a new designer style launching in June 2010 this time by Jean Paul Gaultier.
Liv loves melissa shoes: They are eco- and animal friendly and having a great design on a really good price.
Thats my story and I am sticking to it.

(Oh and they don’t pay me or offer me free shoes. I think they should though)

lace it up!

…or add some color part II: With bespoke wedding shoes.
(ha that kinda sounds like a pretty cheap radio ad or something)
But Liv is serious. Some of Hetty Roses bespoke and handmade shoedesigns
a kicking ass bridal shoes.
kiki
Handmade out of japanese kimono fabric, if you want to add some color.
Or the lace up petal shoe. Even in pink metallic and the lace detail on the heel
this style still seems really cool to me.

Ah oui, this shoes are neither vegan, nor green but they are trés chic haute couture from Paris.
I like their traditional techniques and incredible details.

I feel like I am maybe the only fashion obsessed person,
that is not totally crazy about Paris right now.
Liv had always been in love with New York and learned to love London.
Alright: I adore colette and thats already reason enaugh for a weekend trip to Paris every then and when ; )

lil winter bride

winterbride-collage

Liv doesn’t like being cold at all.
So I definitely would never ever marry in winter BUT
I love all those accessories to keep you crazy Winter-Brides-To-Be hot.
I love furry hats and long scarfs, boots and winter clothes.
The black feather stola in the first picture is looking great worn with the white tulle. via Fashion156 we already know from here
And: Aren’t those white lace boots cute? via bitchin&junkfood

To be clear: I like looking at winter clothes, not wearing them.
There is nothing better like the naked and free feeling of just wearing a light
flowing dress ; )

They are designed by Nina Dolcetti and handmade in a small family run factory in East London!
