You’ve maybe seen part of my new BLUSHLESS moodboard here already.
I am in full work process right now. There are so many strong images
and ideas that will have a big influence on the new styles.
I have the idea of “giving each other/giving the bride wings” through marriage in my head, plus transformation, growing, apiring, explosions…
All translating into new shapes for wedding dresses!
I can’t stop draping and don’t get too much sleep this days, but very soon you will see the results.

Isn’t the white peocock a stunning animal?
I would love to rent one or a few for my photoshoot, but I guess that’s not gonna happen.

…that I ve seen on the tube today. And thought it matches my situation perfectly.
With another move within the next weeks, a server/comment error on this blog and an on/off internet connection I am a little bit lost.

I am sorry for the lack of posts lately…but I am still in “getting-settled-in-london-mode” and all the moving countries
and moving business takes up much more of my time then expected.
I am happy though. Very happy. And things are going well.
There is something I have to tell you.

I have to move flats again in 3 weeks (eeek!) have to get furniture and stuff, work on the next BLUSHLESS collection and I would love to see your post here.

The messier the better.
I cut it myself (or ask friends to do it) and I never use any styling products.

Liv loves the messy look also for brides!

Backstage.

Liv decided to do wedding dresses (and evening wear)
because I love to know that every piece I create will be worn on a very special day. With a special spirit.
I like it when cool couples are getting married. In cool little dresses (and suits).
It just makes me happy.

I want to do something for all you ladies out there that are courageous and crazy enaugh to say YES!

Did you know that the Australian Government offers a special support in relationship advice?
I learned from West Aussie Wedding that all couples applying for civil ceremony will get a DVD about Building Strong Relationships (it turned out the videos are quite crap, but the idea is a good one! Every country should do that, in a tasteful way. Hello you video artists out there!? )

When it comes to advice I am totally down with this : #1 relationship advice: read it here.

Here it comes: A sneak peak of my moodboard!
Ahhhh! OHHHH! no? can’t see the textures, shapes and silouhettes
of the next BLUSHLESS collection yet?
Its all about the dynamics, the flying aspiring directions,
the crystal shapes and transformation.
Don’t worry about the color, the wedding dresses will come in different shades of white. For the evening styles there will be red and purples available. And of course black. Liv is sketching, sketching, sketching and draping.

I am listening to it a lot right now and think its really inspiring.
I am also in love with the style of Florence Welch.
Florence is of my new muses for the current collection

Liv is back to full draping fun in the studio, beginning work on the toiles and sketches for the next collection.
Don’t get to excited just yet, there won’t be any unveiling until the time for the official launch of the new collection, which will still be quite a long time away…

But I promise to keep you up to date in the process though, with sketches,
first drapes and moodboards.
One new dress available on request would be this one :

I made it for myself one day in black to wear during Fashion Week,
and got so much great feedback on this one, you can now order it in white as a wedding dress.

This is a cocktail/bridesmaid dress I created for a friend, its funny to see her in a fancy dress, because she is normally a complete tomboy.

I am totally turned on right now by an old painting of Amor and Psyche.
But dont worry, the dresses wont be in old fashioned kitschy angelic stylings of course.
The painting is an inspiration, and that will translate for Global Season 2011.
Just to give you an idea of the theme for the new collection.
