hello sunshine!

Posted on: Tuesday, August 23, 2011

Hello Sunshine!
So good to see you. I have been trying to get in touch for a while.
I prepared to meet you at this sunny wonderful weekend off.
It was so good to hang out in the park with my summary friends:

+ fresh fruit (my favorite are mangoes and apples)
+ Vichy thermal water spray (amazing to set make up and refresh the skin)
+ big (round) sunglasses
+ a well fitting bikini/swimwear this one is by Lepel via lingerieplease they were kind enough to sent me a set to review and I LOVE IT.
+ a good book , (“A Woman’s Book of Yoga”, brilliant!)
+ non greasy sunscreen 30+ for the face
+ a hat

Thank you sunshine! I had the best time. See you soon.

Love Liv

beach babe…

Posted on: Tuesday, August 16, 2011

Yep that’s me! In Portugal.
That’s why I love the sun so much.
Recently my dad emailed me tons of photos of my childhood.
I grew up in a car, where I was traveling around with my hippie mum in Portugal and southern Europe.
That might be the reason I am never feeling homesick.
Though I don’t want my kids to live in a car, I wish they can bounce around by the beach a lot.
David came to visit my parents in Germany for the first time, since I moved to London.
They had a big garden party where Dave performed his first few German sentences.
It was great fun. (and really cold!)

more orange lips, new year, new career

I am still trying to ignore the winter and snow outside.
That’s why I am digging orange lips right now they remind me to focus on the upcoming holiday.
If you like the orange “let’s-escape-winter-look” as well, you can find a make-up tutorial for this look here.
Through my new day job beside Blushless I decided to listen to my passion and the direction that life is pushing me through.
That means I am about to start a new career as make up artist.
It’s not a completely new field for me but I will built a brand new portfolio and keep learning.

The smell of a Love Song

Posted on: Sunday, November 28, 2010

Tiempe Passate by Antonias Flowers is my favorite fragrance at the moment.
It was named for a love song written by her grandfather in the 1920s.
I tried to figure out more about the song but couldn’t find any lyrics.
Anyway it’s an incredible unique sent with notes of bergamot, clementine, sage, mimosa, cyclamen, Montauk rose, white orris, cedar, vetiver and amber.

Let’s pick out a name!

There will be a chihuahua puppygirl in my life in a few months!!!
That’s not quite a wedding related topic but it will inspire me for the upcoming dresses.

I would be happy if you want to join in with name suggestions,
or general advice, book recommandations for chihuahuas or whatever.

This has been the first time in my life that I am without a dog.
It just doesn’t feel right, something is missing.

Names that I like:

  • Lychee
  • Paula
  • Frida
  • Lula
  • NYC, Dogs & Wedding Dresses

…or about happy endings part II
    Things could be so easy.
Just follow the three steps as shown above.
My dear friend and great artist Kinga Dunikowska created the work
“Happy End” for the Museum of Gelsenkirchen/Germany.

Apparently things are not that easy. But I guess that is
what makes life interesting and beautiful.
